The historical Castle of Montemor-o-Velho will host the OC. The ceremony is scheduled for the 20th of August 20th at 8 p.m.
August 20th marks the official kick-off of the 2024 FISU World University Championships Canoe Sports with the Opening Ceremony!
The event will take place at Montemor-o-Velho Castle, with the festivities scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
The ceremony will be attended by distinguished guests, such as the President of the Organizing Committee, Ricardo Nora, several representatives from FISU, the Secretary of State for Sports, Pedro Dias, and also the representatives of the event’s official partners, as well as other guests.
The 24 participating countries will also parade, in a ceremony that will feature several performances and surprises for everyone present.
